Through Brandiful Design’s extensive experience in developing exciting new products, Hachette have approached us many times to help them realise their product ambitions. We first discuss the challenges and goals of a particular development over meetings in person and an idea always starts with a sketch. Strict confidentiality is observed at all times and work is only published with prior permission from the client.
We were approached by the Transformers team at Hachette to help develop artwork to feature across the range of collectable graphic novels that have now been published.
At Brandiful Design we have an extensive knowledge and experience with how the development stages of magazine collection companies work. The creation of the artwork underwent a variety of stages. This is common practice with development work and we are very familiar and flexible to this process.
The final artwork comprises of a dramatic scene featuring all the main Transformers characters. The book spine artwork builds up across the series of novels. Customers are encouraged to maintain their subscription in order to complete the full scene artwork. The Transformers collection is an official licenced product.
The work was created using 3D software Cinema 4D and image retouching software Photoshop.
